Do I Have To Give Up Pasta?

Question:

Do I have to give up pasta to lose weight on the natural diet?

Answer:

Not really.  Because the natural diet is a method and not just a menu, we believe that the priority of having enough food overrides having the absolute healthiest foods.  Home made pasta is a real food.  Store bought dried pasta is a kind of "lesser evil".  You should make your own if you have the time and the means, pre-bake or saute it before boiling, and eat it in proportion.

Too often, pasta is used as a kind of filler to detract from the scarcity of other foods in a dish.  So it becomes a main dish more often than it should.

It's a starchy food that's usually made from unsprouted grains, so it should be the last priority on your plate.  Most of your calories should come from the fruit/vegetable and protein rich foods in the dish.
