Ingredients
- 1 turkey breast or 2 thighs, preferably with the skin and bones, but okay without
- 1 large onion
- 3 carrots
- 5 potatoes
- 1 stick of celery (with the leaves)
- 1 clove of garlic
- 1/2 cup oat or millet flour
- 1/3 cup rendered beef, lamb, or pork fat
- 1/4 cup fresh or 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- 1 teaspoon each of cumin and curry
- 1/2 teaspoon dry ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon cracked black pepper
- 1/4 cup pine nuts, sunflower, or sesame seeds
- 1/8 cup vinegar (may need more if you like it saltier)
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons gray salt
