When you embark on eating natural, you'll find your cravings shifting towards more nutritionally dense foods. So you should always have whatever fresh vegetables are in season around.
What is in season depends on where in the world you live, and how the weather cycles there. Generally though, you can tell based on what's cheapest and most plentiful in the market as opposed to the grocery store. Seasonal fruits and vegetables will also look better and more ready to eat.
If it's possible, you should try to start your own vegetable garden, and grow fruit trees and vines. Most people can grow some kinds of greens easily in their yard. Many are as beautiful as garden flowers.
If you live in an area with lots of stray dogs and cats, you may want to consider building a green shed or a kind of plant coop made of wire fencing. |
