Guacamole

This is my recipe for guacamole.  I like to keep it pretty simple, but things can be added to it, depending on whether you want to eat it alone, dip it with chips or onions, or spread it on bread.

Ingredients:
  • 4 ripe avocadoes
  • 1 tablespoon lemon or lime juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic crystals or 1 clove of garlic, roasted and smashed
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon parsley or cilantro
  • a pinch of gray salt
Instructions:
  1. Peel the avocadoes with a spoon, and take out the seed.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  3. Puree it all together using a hand blender of food processor.
Tips:
Put the whole seeds or some cherry tomatoes back in the guacamole, to slow down the browning.
In Europe, some folks like to add smashed boiled eggs and chopped onions to this.
